Grew up in a quiet corner of San Francisco with pet chickens in the backyard. That early proximity to something unlike Silicon Valley's origins set the tone for how I view the world. I am drawn to the gap between how things actually work and how they are understood by the people most affected by them.

Some years in growth taught me I'm someone who wants to evaluate, synthesize, and move ideas toward impact. Lately I've been thinking about literacy, value systems, and how they intersect with local policy and critical thinking. Previously I led marketing for startups and restaurants, scaled in the fertility sector, and spent time during my college days studying American prison systems.
